GAS Series 3 #4 Tunguska Event Open Edition Card

GAS is back with Series 3 of its iconic flagship series, featuring fascinating personalities and incredible events! The Tunguska event was a 12-megaton explosion that occurred in Russia on the morning of June 30, 1908. The explosion, over the sparsely populated Eastern Siberian Taiga, flattened 80 million trees over an area of 830 square miles of forest, causing the death of at least three people. It is the only entry of a large meteoroid in the modern era with first hand accounts, but left no crater.
