GAS is back with Series 3 of its iconic flagship series, featuring fascinating personalities and incredible events!

Working at Bletchley Park, England’s code breaking center during World War II, mathematician Alan Turing devised revolutionary techniques for breaking German codes and ciphers and in so doing assisted the Allies in defeating the Axis Powers. Influential in the formalization of the concepts of algorithms and computation as well as the development of a general purpose computer (the Turing Machine), he is widely considered one of the fathers of Theoretical Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
