Florida Governor and Republican Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis had a stellar amateur baseball career, propelling his team, the Dunedin Nationals, to the U.S. Southern Regional Championship and the Little League World Series in 1991.

He later Captained the Yale University Baseball Squad as a four-year starter, following in the footsteps of one of his heroes, President George Herbert Walker Bush.

As the news broke of DeSantis’ 2024 candidacy announcement with Elon Musk via Twitter, DeSantis was given the GAS Trading Card treatment as a young hurler on his Florida Little League team, complete with a fresh-faced Elon Musk cheering him on.
