Limited Edition GAS Series 3 #17 Charles "Victory" Faust Cracked Foil Prism Card -

GAS is back with Series 3 of its iconic flagship series, featuring fascinating personalities and incredible events!

At age 30, a fortune-teller told Charles Victor "Victory" Faust that he would become a major league baseball player and help the Giants win the World Series championship. Faust ran off from his home in Kansas and told the Giants' manager, John McGraw, of the prediction. He convinced McGraw to let him try out and was allowed to stay due to the team's winning streak upon his arrival. As a result, Faust was signed to the Giants as a sort of mascot, and eventually ended up pitching two games for the 1911 New York Giants and contributed two stolen bases to their record-setting total of 347.
